The show Little Lunch follows a group of primary school students during their fifteen-minute morning snack break, where anything can happen. In episode 20 of season 1, titled "The Walk-A-Thon," the students prepare for the annual Walk-A-Thon fundraiser, where they must walk laps around the school oval to raise money for charity.
The episode begins with the students arriving at school, excited for the Walk-A-Thon. However, they quickly learn that this year's fundraiser will be a little different from previous years. Instead of simply walking laps around the oval, the students will have to complete challenges at various stations set up around the school.
Each challenge is designed to test different skills, such as teamwork, problem-solving, and physical ability. Some of the challenges include a sack race, a puzzle station, and a tug-of-war competition. The students are divided into teams and must work together to complete all the challenges.
As the day goes on, tensions rise between some of the students. Ralph and Melanie argue over who will lead their team, while Tamara and Battie struggle to work together at the puzzle station. Meanwhile, Debra-Jo and Rory find themselves struggling with the physical challenges, much to their frustration.
Despite these challenges, the students find ways to work together and support each other. When Melanie begins to doubt herself, her teammates rally around her and remind her of her strengths. When Tamara and Battie struggle with the puzzle, they work together to come up with a solution. And when Debra-Jo and Rory struggle with the physical challenges, they motivate each other to keep going.
As the day draws to a close, the students gather for the final challenge: a race around the school oval. The team that completes the race first will win the Walk-A-Thon. The students put all their skills to use as they race towards the finish line, cheered on by their classmates.
In the end, the winning team is announced, and the students celebrate their success. They may have faced challenges throughout the day, but they learned the importance of working together and supporting each other. As the episode ends, the students look forward to next year's Walk-A-Thon, already planning how they can improve and work even better as a team.
