Ep 13. Racing Time/All Tied Up

Little Bill is an animated series that focuses on the everyday life of a curious and imaginative five-year-old boy named Bill Glover. In this particular episode, Racing Time/All Tied Up, Bill and his friends go on a race against time to meet the ice cream man before he leaves the neighborhood.

The episode begins with Little Bill and his friends, Andrew and Fuchsia, being excited about the fact that the ice cream man is in their neighborhood. Finally, they make it to the ice cream truck, but they realize that they do not have enough money to buy the ice cream they desire. The ice cream man, seeing how determined and hardworking the kids are, decides to give them a free treat.

In the second half of the episode, Bill and his family plan a surprise birthday party for his dad. Bill is tasked with keeping his dad busy all day so that his mom and sister can prepare for the surprise party. However, things take an unexpected turn when Bill accidentally ties himself up with rope during a game he was playing with his friends.

Panicking, Bill tries to free himself, but the knots are too tight. He worries about how he will keep his dad entertained while being tied up. Luckily, his friends come to his rescue and try to untie the knots. They first try to use scissors but realize that they can't get them to Bill. They then try using a stick to try and loosen the knots, but the stick breaks in half.

Desperate for a solution, Bill's sister, April, comes up with the idea of calling her friend from the fire department for help. The fireman arrives and uses his expert skills to untie the worst of the knots. Bill is finally relieved and grateful to be free.

With the help of his friends, Bill is able to keep his dad entertained and distracted all day. When they finally arrive home, they find a big surprise waiting for them. The entire house is filled with balloons, decorations, and a birthday cake. Bill's dad is touched by the gesture and feels loved on his special day.
