In episode 3 of Line of Duty season 6, tensions are high as AC-12 continue their investigation into Operation Lighthouse. DCI Jo Davidson (Kelly Macdonald) is feeling the heat as her links to the Organized Crime Group become more and more apparent. As AC-12 dig deeper into her past, they uncover some shocking information that could potentially implicate her in serious wrongdoing.
Meanwhile, DI Steve Arnott (Martin Compston) is struggling with his chronic pain and his addiction to painkillers. He finds himself becoming increasingly isolated from his colleagues and his girlfriend. However, he's forced to put aside his personal issues as he's tasked with interviewing a new suspect in the case.
As the investigation gathers momentum, cracks begin to appear in the OCG's carefully constructed facade. We see glimpses of their criminal activities as they engage in shady dealings and tense confrontations. However, the identity of "H", the shadowy figure at the heart of the OCG, remains elusive.
Throughout the episode, we see tensions rising between AC-12 and senior police figures, as the team start to question the integrity of the force as a whole. They uncover evidence that suggests that there may be more than one bent copper at work, and that corruption may run deeper than anyone imagined.
As always, Line of Duty keeps viewers on the edge of their seats with its intricate plot twists and juicy revelations. The tension is gripping, and the stakes are high as the investigation enters its third episode. Fans of the show won't be disappointed with what's in store, as the story continues to unfold in exciting and unexpected ways.
