In Lilo & Stitch: The Series season 1 episode 11, entitled Splodyhead, Stitch's cousin, Splodyhead, arrives on Earth from his home planet of KaBoom. Lilo and Stitch take it upon themselves to help Splodyhead learn to control his powers before Gantu can get his hands on him.
As they try to teach Splodyhead, they learn more about his home planet and the unique abilities of the creatures that inhabit it. Lilo and Stitch also face the challenge of teaching someone who doesn't yet understand the concept of "ohana" (family), which is central to their way of life. Throughout the episode, they are constantly being chased by Gantu, who wants to capture Splodyhead and use his powers for his own evil purposes.
Throughout the episode, Lilo and Stitch face a number of challenges as they try to help Splodyhead control his powers. They take him to an abandoned laboratory to practice using his powers without causing harm to anyone or anything. They also hold a "training session" where Lilo has Stitch and Splodyhead practice using their abilities to help others and protect the community. They even take Splodyhead to a fireworks show in order to give him an outlet for his love of explosions.
As they work with Splodyhead, Lilo and Stitch come to realize that teaching someone who doesn't yet understand "ohana" is a challenging task. Lilo tries to explain to Splodyhead that ohana means family, and that nobody gets left behind or forgotten. Splodyhead just doesn't seem to grasp the concept, causing Lilo and Stitch to worry that they won't be able to help him fully control his powers.
Eventually, they come up with a plan to use Splodyhead's abilities to stop a dangerous forest fire. By working together, Lilo, Stitch, and Splodyhead are able to create a barrier that stops the fire from spreading. In the process, Splodyhead learns the value of teamwork and understands the concept of ohana.
In the end, Lilo and Stitch are successful in helping Splodyhead control his powers, just in time to escape Gantu's clutches. As they say their goodbyes, Splodyhead gifts Lilo and Stitch with a jar of his explosive fireballs as a way to show his appreciation for everything they did to help him.
