Wanting to start a new life for herself, she quits her job and is ready to move Milan with Paula. But is stopped by two visitors pleading for her help to reopen her investigation and help find their missing children.

Blanca is delighted to discover she is pregnant, but her world is soon shattered when she also discovers the relationship between Alex and Marian and throws him out of the house. Alex is devastated, but is now free to begin a relationship with Marian and suggests moving in with her and her family. The Meyers learns that Alex is working with Lara and agree that action must be taken to stop them.

Alex and Lara still don't know what BN23 could be used for and turn to Ana Baena for help, who tells them that she can't do anything without a sample of the product. Alex and Lara must return to Sperk. Lara encounters Amalia Sigüenza, the Ministry of Health, who claims that Rodrigo was not who he said he was, and that he kept a dark secret...

Informed by his drug dealer that BN23 can only be found in a pharmaceutical lab called Sperk, Alex masquerades as a Drug Agency Inspector to investigate. Hindered by restricted access, Alex begins to receive new flashing images from 'Rodrigo', following the trail of these memories Alex makes a shocking discovery.
