Ep 9. Arctic Discipline

Back in Kavik, Sue is facing another challenge when her oil furnace starts acting up. With temperatures dropping to dangerous levels, she knows she needs to fix the furnace before her living conditions become perilous. Sue spends hours tinkering with the furnace, finding a solution to the problem that threatens her safety.

In Wiseman, Andy faces a new difficulty when his sled team falls prey to a stomach virus. He knows he needs to act quickly to ensure the dogs don't get dehydrated or malnourished. Andy spends long hours nursing his team back to health, using every trick in his arsenal to ensure they make a full recovery.

Finally, the episode concludes with Glenn Villeneuve, who is settling into his new cabin in Chandalar. While he's happy in his new home, Glenn knows he needs to stay sharp in order to survive out here. He spends his time practicing his hunting skills and honing his instincts, always mindful of the dangers that lurk in the wilderness.
