Ep 8. The Mastermind Job

Eliot Spencer, one of the members of the former Leverage team, is arrested by the FBI for allegedly stealing money from a charity event. When the rest of the team learns about Eliot's arrest, they decide to find out the truth behind his accusation and clear his name.

Sophie Devereaux reaches out to one of her contacts in the FBI, Special Agent Aimee Martin, to learn more about Eliot's case. Meanwhile, Hardison investigates the charity event where Eliot was arrested and discovers that the real thief is still on the loose. He also uncovers a link between the charity event and a wealthy businessman named Henry Gault.

With this information, the team decides to go after Gault and his organization. They devise a plan to steal incriminating information from Gault's company and use it to force him to clear Eliot's name.

Parker infiltrates Gault's company as a new employee, posing as a skilled hacker. She gains access to Gault's computer system and begins to download the incriminating files. However, things take a dangerous turn when Gault's head of security becomes suspicious of her and initiates a lockdown of the building.

As the security team closes in on Parker, she frantically searches for a way out. Meanwhile, Sophie and the rest of the team struggle to help her from the outside. In a race against time, they must all work together to save Parker and complete the mission.

As the team races to escape, they learn the truth about who was behind Eliot's arrest, and why they were targeted in the first place. With their mission accomplished, the team regroups and reflects on the events that have unfolded.
