In this episode, the Leverage team is tasked with taking down a corrupt businessman named Maxwell Dubois who made his fortune by running illegal gambling operations. Dubois is planning to expand his empire by building a massive casino in a rural town, which will not only bring in more profits for him but will also lead to the town's destruction. The mayor of the town, who happens to be a friend of one of the team members, asks for their help in stopping Dubois from carrying out his plans.
The team decides to take down Dubois by targeting his right-hand man, a man named Stefan Kilbane, who is a skilled card player and runs the most profitable part of Dubois' operation. They plan to lure Kilbane into a high-stakes card game where they can cheat him out of a large sum of money and use it to expose Dubois' illegal activities.
To do this, the team enlists the help of a new member, Breanna Casey, a master card sharp who used to work for Dubois but left the operation after realizing the extent of his corruption. Using her insider knowledge, Breanna helps the team set up the card game and pull off an impressive cheating scheme to win a significant amount of money from Kilbane.
However, things start to go wrong when Dubois gets wind of the team's plan and sends his men to disrupt the game. The Leverage team must think on their feet to outsmart Dubois' men and ensure that their plan is not compromised. In the end, they succeed in exposing Dubois' illegal activities and saving the town from his destructive plans.
