Wayne, Daryl, Squirrely Dan, and Katy find themselves discussing their dating past when they run into exes and old flames at the local bar. Wayne’s ex Angie, who he hasn’t seen in 10 years, walks in with her new fiancé who happens to look a lot like Wayne. Daryl runs into his old girlfriend Allie who has moved on with a woman, and Squirrely Dan is surprised to see his ex-girlfriend Jenny, who he still has feelings for, with a new boyfriend. Meanwhile, Katy runs into Gae, an old flame from her hockey playing days.
As the night goes on, the group reflects on their past relationships and how they have all grown and changed since then. Wayne struggles with his jealousy seeing Angie with someone who looks so much like him and tries to figure out why he still has feelings for her after all this time. Daryl is shocked to see Allie with a woman but ultimately is happy that she’s happy. Squirrely Dan confides in Katy about his feelings for Jenny and Katy decides to take action to help him out.
The group ends up playing a game of Truth or Dare, which leads to some revealing moments and brings them all closer together. They ultimately realize that everyone has their own path in life and that it’s important to be accepting and supportive of the choices others make, even if they don’t necessarily align with their own beliefs or experiences.
Overall, the episode explores the theme of growth and change, as well as the importance of accepting and supporting others. The characters’ past relationships serve as a reminder of how far they’ve come and how much they’ve learned about themselves and others along the way. The episode is equal parts humorous and heartwarming, with plenty of witty banter and touching moments.
