It's time for a brand new season of Letterkenny and we're kicking things off with episode 1, titled "What Could Be So Urgent?".
As always, we find ourselves back in the small town of Letterkenny where we're quickly reunited with Wayne, Katy, Daryl, and the rest of the gang. In this episode, we're immediately thrown into the thick of things as the town is hit with some unexpected news.
It turns out that their beloved hockey coach has been fired and the gang is left in shock and disbelief. It's not long before they realize that they need to take action and do something about this injustice.
As they try to gather information about what went wrong, they uncover some surprising details about the coach's past and it becomes apparent that there may be more to this situation than meets the eye.
Meanwhile, other members of the gang are dealing with their own personal dramas. Wayne is in a bit of a funk after a break-up and is struggling to move on. Katy is dealing with some awkward moments with her new beau, Dierks. And Daryl is forced to confront some uncomfortable truths about himself in the aftermath of the coach's firing.
Throughout the episode, we're treated to the signature humor and wit that fans have come to expect from Letterkenny. The one-liners and clever banter are as sharp as ever and it's clear that the gang hasn't lost their touch.
One of the highlights of the episode is the return of some fan-favorite characters. Gail is back and as outrageous as ever, causing chaos and making us laugh in equal measure. And we're also reintroduced to joint-smoking, scurvy-suffering Stewart who always brings a certain level of absurdity to any scene he's in.
Overall, "What Could Be So Urgent?" is a great start to the new season of Letterkenny. It brings us back into the world we know and love while also introducing some new plotlines and challenges for our favorite characters. The humor is on-point, the dialogue is snappy, and the pacing is just right.
Fans of the show won't be disappointed and newcomers will find plenty to love about this quirky and charming Canadian comedy. And with more episodes to come this season, we can't wait to see where the gang's adventures take them next.
