Ep 5. Spilt Milk

Rogers Murtaugh and his partner Martin Riggs are back, and they're on the case again. This time around, the duo is investigating a home invasion-turned homicide. As they work to solve the case, they discover that the victim was actually a bank robber who had hidden a stash of cash somewhere in the house.

As they search for the money, Murtaugh is distracted by his own personal problems. His daughter Riana is starting to date, which is causing him a great deal of anxiety. Meanwhile, Riggs is dealing with his own issues. He's still struggling to come to terms with the death of his wife, Miranda, and he's haunted by the recurring nightmares that he has been experiencing ever since.

Despite their personal problems, the two detectives are determined to solve the case. As they continue to dig deeper, they discover that the victim was not acting alone. In fact, he was part of a larger crew that had been targeting wealthy homes in the area. With this new information, Murtaugh and Riggs race against time to catch the remaining members of the crew before they strike again.

As the case unfolds, the detectives find themselves in increasingly dangerous situations. They face off against a ruthless criminal mastermind who will stop at nothing to protect his operation. Along the way, they receive support from their colleagues on the force, including their captain, Avery Brooks.

In the end, Murtaugh and Riggs are able to solve the case and bring the criminals to justice. But the experience takes a toll on both men, and they are left to reflect on the risks that come with their profession. Despite the challenges they face, they know that they will continue to fight for justice, one case at a time.
