Let the World See is a dramatic ABC series that premiered in 2022. The show follows the Sullivan family, led by patriarch Julius Sullivan, the founder and CEO of one of the largest tech companies in the world. Despite the family's immense wealth and privilege, they each struggle with their own inner turmoil and demons.
The show opens by introducing us to the five adult Sullivan children, each with their own distinct personalities and goals. Eldest son Wes is the heir apparent to the company, though he grapples with living up to his father's legacy. Daughter Sloane is a brilliant attorney striving for justice, though her loyalties are tested when her family is involved. Twins Christian and Christina have always been intensely competitive with each other, vying for their father's approval and love. Youngest son Danny wants nothing to do with the family business, instead pursuing a career as an artist, much to his father's chagrin.
At the center of it all is the family patriarch Julius, whose ambitions and cutthroat tactics built the company from the ground up. Underneath his formidable exterior, Julius harbors his own wounds and regrets. His relationships with his children are strained, each carrying the weight of his high expectations and conditional love. Julius' wife Eve plays the role of mediator in the family, trying to smooth over the constant conflicts between Julius and the kids.
Over the course of the show, various scandals, betrayals, and family secrets come to light, testing the strength of the Sullivan family bonds. Wes uncovers shady business dealings that force him to question his loyalty to the company. Sloane's principles are challenged when she takes on a case involving her father's company. The twins' rivalry takes a dark turn when they let ambition cloud their judgment. Danny pursues his art at the cost of complete isolation from the family.
At its core, Let the World See explores wealth, power, family legacy, and the cost of ambition. It peels back the curtain on the enviable life of a dynasty, revealing the vulnerability and humanity beneath. Each character grapples with their own inner demons and must ultimately decide if being a Sullivan is a privilege or a curse. With sharp writing and complex character dynamics, the show provides an intimate look at a wealthy family's internal struggles. Let the World See proves that money and success do not guarantee happiness or strong family bonds.
