They only have a few days to rest and refocus before their crunch match against a team of steel, a team that defied Brazil in the quarter-final: Belgium. A real semi-final clash. Les Bleus impose themselves and eventually manage to take the penultimate step, which leads to the final battle, the ultimate showdown...

3. The first matches

France progresses to the knockout stage of the competition, where they can't afford to make the slightest mistake. The consequence would be immediate - the return trip home.
