In the eleventh episode of the first season of LEGO NinjaGo: Masters of Spinjitzu, titled "The Royal Blacksmiths," the Ninja find themselves on a mission to retrieve a powerful scroll that could potentially defeat their enemy, Lord Garmadon. Their search leads them to the Blacksmiths, who have been in hiding for years.
The Blacksmiths turn out to be the parents of two of the Ninja, Jay and Nya. The siblings are happy to see their parents again, but they soon learn that the Blacksmiths are being held hostage by Lord Garmadon, who wants them to forge a powerful weapon for him.
The Ninja decide to help the Blacksmiths and rescue them from Garmadon's clutches. They sneak into Garmadon's castle, but their presence is soon discovered by the evil Lord. A fierce battle ensues, with the Ninja facing off against Garmadon's army of skeletons.
Meanwhile, the Blacksmiths are working on the weapon that Garmadon requested, but they secretly make a few modifications to it. When the weapon is finally finished, the Blacksmiths reveal that it was all a ruse and that the weapon is actually a decoy. The real weapon is hidden elsewhere, and the Blacksmiths refuse to reveal its location to Garmadon.
The Ninja manage to free the Blacksmiths and together, they make their escape from Garmadon's castle. However, their victory is short-lived as Garmadon catches up to them and a final showdown ensues. In the end, the Ninja are able to outsmart Garmadon and prevent him from getting his hands on the real weapon.
The episode concludes with the Blacksmiths parting ways with their children once again, but not before giving them a special gift as a token of their love. The Ninja continue on their quest to defeat Lord Garmadon and save the land of Ninjago.
