In LEGO City Adventures season 1 episode 12, titled "Last Man Floating," the citizens of LEGO City are excitedly gearing up for the annual boat race when disaster strikes. A large, aggressive fish begins attacking boats and causing chaos on the water. LEGO City's police department, led by Chief Wheeler, springs into action to try to contain the threat and prevent any injuries or further damage.
Meanwhile, Mayor Fleck prepares to participate in the boat race as he sees it as an excellent opportunity to show off his athletic prowess and impress the citizens of LEGO City. His assistant Sabrina worries about his safety during the race, but the mayor brushes off her concerns and eagerly gets laced up in his bright red racing boat.
Elsewhere, fire captain Rooky Partnur is busy trying to prep his team for the boat race, but his crew seems more interested in playing pranks on one another than focusing on the task at hand. Rooky tries his best to get everyone motivated and ready for the race, but it seems as though disaster is just around the corner.
As the boat race begins, chaos ensues as the aggressive fish continues to cause trouble on the water. Boats are capsizing left and right, and the police department is struggling to keep everyone safe. Rooky and his team are forced to abandon their efforts to win the race and instead focus on rescuing anyone who may be in danger.
Mayor Fleck is determined to win the race, but his competitiveness lands him in some hot water. Literally. He finds himself stuck up a tree after his boat is destroyed, and it's up to the fire department to rescue him and bring him back to safety.
As the chaos on the water dies down, Chief Wheeler realizes that the fish attacking the boats was likely just a mother protecting her babies. The police department resolves to help the fish family relocate to a safer location where they won't be a threat to the boats and their passengers.
In the end, the boat race may not have gone according to plan, but the citizens of LEGO City came together in a time of crisis and worked together to ensure everyone was safe and accounted for. Mayor Fleck learns that sometimes winning just isn't everything and the importance of safety and teamwork.
