Beaver Finds a Wallet is the thirtieth episode of the third season of Leave It to Beaver. In this episode, young Theodore "Beaver" Cleaver finds a wallet lying on the ground while playing at the park. Excited by his discovery, Beaver and his friend Larry Mondello spend the rest of their day trying to determine what to do with the wallet.
As they examine the wallet, they find several dollars, along with a driver's license and a picture of a pretty woman. The boys are torn between keeping the money or returning the wallet to its owner. They even consider turning it in to the police, but ultimately decide to try and track down the woman in the photo, in the hopes of returning her property to her.
Their mission is complicated by the fact that the driver's license belongs to a man, but they don't let this stop them. As they travel around town, asking for information about the woman in the photo, they encounter several helpful (and not-so-helpful) adults. One man tells them that the woman in the picture is a known criminal, but the boys don't believe him. Another woman suggests that they should just keep the money and forget about finding the owner.
Throughout their adventure, Beaver and Larry face temptation to simply take the money and run. However, they ultimately decide that doing the right thing and returning the wallet is more important than the cash inside. When they finally track down the woman in the photo, they discover that she is the sister of the wallet's owner, who has since passed away. The woman is grateful to the boys for returning her brother's belongings and offers them a small reward for their honesty.
