In the LazyTown Season 2 episode "Trash Trouble," the town is facing a garbage problem. The mayor has been neglecting to pay the garbage collectors, so they refuse to take any more trash until they get paid. The LazyTown residents are left with piles of trash all around town, and they need to figure out a solution fast.

Robbie Rotten sees this as a perfect opportunity to cause trouble. He decides to disguise himself as a garbage collector and collect all the garbage from around town himself. However, his real plan is to hide all the garbage in his lair and ruin LazyTown from the inside out.

Stephanie, the resident go-getter, notices Robbie collecting the garbage and becomes suspicious. She enlists Sportacus, the town's resident superhero, to investigate. Sportacus realizes what Robbie is up to and tries to stop him from ruining the town even further.

Meanwhile, the kids of LazyTown decide to take matters into their own hands and start cleaning up the trash themselves. They come up with creative ways to recycle and repurpose the garbage, turning it into something useful.

As the town continues to suffer from the garbage problem, the mayor finally realizes how important it is to pay the garbage collectors on time. He pays them, and they immediately start collecting the trash once again.

In the end, LazyTown is left cleaner and greener than ever before. The kids learn the importance of taking care of the environment and recycling, while Robbie Rotten is once again foiled by Sportacus and the rest of the town. With the garbage problem solved, LazyTown can continue on with its lazy and quirky way of life.
