Featuring: LazyTown's Newest Superhero! is an exciting episode from season 1 of LazyTown. The episode opens with the LazyTown residents gearing up for the town superhero competition, where they will select a superhero to guard LazyTown. Stephanie and Ziggy want to participate too, but they're told that they're not strong or brave enough. Feeling left out, Stephanie and Ziggy decide to make their own superhero costumes and create their own characters. They come up with "Sportacus 2" and "Fibble," respectively.
Meanwhile, Robbie Rotten, LazyTown's resident villain, decides to create his own superhero persona called "Robbie-Flash." He hopes to win the competition and consequently take over the town. He secretly trains himself to become the fastest person in LazyTown so that he can beat Sportacus.
At the superhero competition, Sportacus is set to face off against other LazyTown residents, including Stingy, who takes on the persona of "Stingy-Man." Everyone performs various superhero tasks, such as lifting heavy weights and thwarting fake robberies. However, when it comes to the final race, Sportacus is surprised to see Robbie-Flash competing against him. In a close race, Sportacus wins, but Robbie-Flash still claims he's the real superhero in LazyTown.
Seeing the trouble Robbie Rotten causes, Stephanie and Ziggy step up to save the day by revealing themselves as Sportacus 2 and Fibble. Together with Sportacus, they manage to stop Robbie Rotten's latest scheme and save LazyTown.
In the end, the importance of teamwork and believing in oneself is highlighted. Stephanie and Ziggy prove that even though they may not be as physically strong as Sportacus, they have their own unique strengths and can still help save the day.
