The Law & Order season 2 episode 15 titled "Trust" is an intense and riveting storyline that follows the team of detectives and lawyers as they investigate a sexual assault and possible murder.

The episode begins with the discovery of a young woman named Megan's body in a deserted area of the city. The team of detectives, consisting of Sgt. Max Greevey, Det. Mike Logan, and Capt. Donald Cragen, arrive at the scene and begin their investigation. Early in their investigation, they find out that Megan has filed a report with the police three years prior, when she was sexually assaulted. This information leads them to believe that the two crimes are connected.

As the detectives dig deeper into the case, they find out that Megan had recently become involved with a powerful and wealthy lawyer named Matthew Bergstrom. The team determines that he may have had something to do with Megan's death. They visit his office to gather evidence against him but come up empty-handed. Despite their lack of hard evidence, the team strongly believes that Bergstrom is guilty and continue to press him for information.

Meanwhile, Assistant District Attorney Benjamin Stone and his team are preparing for the trial of a man named Louis Falcone, who is set to go to trial for a separate assault case. Stone is frustrated by the lack of evidence in their case, and becomes increasingly fixated on Bergstrom, believing that he may be able to help their case. Stone and his team of lawyers work tirelessly to gather evidence against Bergstrom while also preparing for the Falcone trial.

As the two cases become more intertwined, tensions rise within the detectives' team and the district attorney's office. The detectives feel that the lawyers are not doing enough to get Bergstrom to confess or provide evidence against him. Stone and his team, on the other hand, feel that the detectives are placing too much emphasis on Bergstrom and not enough on Falcone's case.

The episode culminates in an intense courtroom scene where both cases are brought to trial. Through a series of twists and turns, the trial ends with an unexpected and shocking conclusion.

The acting in this episode is top-notch, with particularly strong performances from Michael Moriarty as Benjamin Stone and George Dzundza as Sgt. Max Greevey. The storyline is well-written, with plenty of twists and turns to keep viewers engaged and guessing until the very end. It touches on important themes such as power and privilege, and the difficulties in prosecuting sexual assault cases.

Overall, Law & Order season 2 episode 15, "Trust," is an intense and well-crafted episode that will leave viewers on the edge of their seats.
