Ep 12. Charity Case

Charity Case is the twelfth episode of the seventeenth season of Law & Order, and it follows a case involving the murder of a young woman named Kira. Kira was the head of a non-profit organization called the Urban Youth Initiative, which provided opportunities for underprivileged children. The episode begins with Kira's murder, and the subsequent investigation by Detectives Green and Cassady.

In the courtroom, ADA McCoy struggles to convict the shady businessman due to lack of evidence. However, with the help of Detectives Green and Cassady, he is able to piece together a compelling case and secure a conviction.

Charity Case tackles complex themes such as fraud, embezzlement, and murder. It also raises questions about the morality of using charity to exploit the vulnerable, and the lengths to which people will go to protect their own interests.
