Detectives Olivia Benson and Elliot Stabler investigate the brutal rape of a young girl named Lindsay Parker. As they begin to delve into the case, they discover that Lindsay's attacker appears to have been targeting her specifically, stalking her for weeks before the attack took place.

The detectives soon learn that Lindsay had been working as an intern at a prestigious interior design firm, and they begin to suspect that one of the firm's employees may be involved in the assault. In particular, they focus their attention on Michael Rudd, the firm's star designer, who had been mentoring Lindsay in the weeks leading up to the attack.

As the investigation continues, the detectives uncover a web of secrets and lies within the design firm, including accusations of sexual harassment and infidelity. Meanwhile, Lindsay's trauma intensifies as she struggles to come to terms with what has happened to her.

With the help of forensic evidence and interviews with the various suspects, the detectives work to build a case against the attacker. But as the trial approaches, they begin to worry that Lindsay's credibility will be called into question due to her past struggles with drug addiction.

As tensions rise in the courtroom, Benson and Stabler must navigate complex legal procedures and personal conflicts in order to bring Lindsay's attacker to justice. Will justice be served, or will the truth be lost in a sea of lies and manipulation?

Meanwhile, Benson must also confront her own demons when she receives news that her half-brother has been arrested on drug charges. Balancing her personal and professional responsibilities, Benson must find a way to support her family while also staying focused on the case at hand.
