Ep 17. Parole Violations

When a woman is found raped and murdered in Central Park, Detectives Benson and Amaro discover the victim is actually a trans woman. The investigation leads them to a former girlfriend and fellow activist of the victim, who leads them to a program that helps parolees transition back into society. As the detectives dig deeper, they begin to suspect that the program may be exploiting the trans women who participate in it. Meanwhile, Sergeant Tutuola leads the investigation into a man who is found dead in his home, but the motive behind his murder is unclear. As the cases intertwine, Benson and Amaro are faced with the task of finding justice for their victims while navigating the complexities of gender identity and the criminal justice system.
