In this episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, titled "Bullseye," the detectives of the Special Victims Unit investigate a case of sexual assault involving a controversial sports figure.

The episode opens with the victim, a young woman named Jenny, attending a charity event hosted by the famous athlete, Marcus (played by guest star Henry Simmons). Jenny and Marcus have a conversation and she ultimately agrees to go back to his hotel room with him. However, when they arrive, things take a dark turn.

The next morning, Jenny wakes up to find bruises on her body and realizes that she has been sexually assaulted. She immediately goes to the hospital and reports the assault to the police.

Detectives Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni) take on the case and quickly find themselves in the middle of a media frenzy. Marcus, who is a beloved figure in the community, denies any wrongdoing and claims that the sex was consensual.

As the detectives dig deeper, they discover that Marcus has a history of sexual misconduct, including accusations of assault and harassment from several other women. However, none of these cases resulted in charges being filed.

The investigation becomes even more complicated when one of the other women accusing Marcus of sexual misconduct, Rachel (played by guest star Tessa Thompson), is found dead. The detectives suspect that Marcus may have been involved in her death and work to prove it while still trying to build a strong case against him for the sexual assault of Jenny.

As the episode unfolds, the detectives work tirelessly to gather evidence and find witnesses to support their case. However, they encounter numerous obstacles along the way, including powerful lawyers and public opinion.

Ultimately, the detectives are able to build a strong enough case against Marcus to get him charged with sexual assault and brought to trial. As the episode comes to a close, the team celebrates their victory but also recognizes the many challenges that still lie ahead, both in terms of Marcus's trial and in the ongoing fight against sexual assault and harassment.

Overall, "Bullseye" is a gripping and thought-provoking episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit that sheds light on the important issue of sexual assault and the challenges faced by victims and law enforcement alike.
