Ep 7. Country Crossover

In Law & Order: CI season 6 episode 7, entitled "Country Crossover", Detectives Goren and Eames investigate a murder on the set of a popular country music television show. The victim is a rising star named Jolene and the prime suspect is her jealous ex-boyfriend, an up-and-coming musician named Willie Salters.

As Goren and Eames dig deeper into the case, they uncover a web of secrets and rivalries within the country music industry. The show's executive producer, a slick businessman named Trip Hayden, seems to be hiding something, as does Jolene's former mentor, a jaded singer named Ray Stoney. Meanwhile, Willie Salters' entourage is composed of a group of rowdy and unpredictable characters, including his hot-headed cousin and a shady talent manager with a criminal past.

Goren and Eames race against time to identify the killer before another person is targeted.
