Ep 2. Last Baby Proofing Standing

Mike Baxter (Tim Allen) is a man's man. He loves his job at Outdoor Man where he sells sporting equipment. His wife, Vanessa (Nancy Travis) is a successful geologist. Together, they have three daughters: Kristin (Alexandra Krosney), Mandy (Molly Ephraim), and Eve (Kaitlyn Dever). Mike is outnumbered in his own home, but he always manages to hold his own.

In the second episode of the series, "Last Baby Proofing Standing," Mike is determined to prove that his house is baby-proof. However, his wife, Vanessa, is not convinced. She knows that their youngest daughter, Eve, is getting into everything and she wants to make sure that she is safe.

Mike is confident that he can handle anything that Eve throws his way, but his confidence is shaken when he learns that Vanessa's brother, Jim, is coming to visit with his two daughters. Mike starts to see the world from Eve's perspective and realizes that there are a lot of things in the house that can hurt her. He starts to panic and goes on a baby-proofing spree. He locks up all of the cleaning supplies, puts away all of the sharp objects, and even covers up all of the electrical outlets.

However, Mike's baby-proofing measures prove to be too much for his daughters. They start to rebel against all of the rules and restrictions that he has put in place. Mike realizes that he needs to find a balance between keeping Eve safe and letting his daughters be kids.

In the end, Mike learns an important lesson about parenting. He realizes that he needs to trust his instincts and not worry so much about what other people think. He also learns that it's okay to make mistakes and that he can always learn from them.

"Last Baby Proofing Standing" is a funny and heartwarming episode that showcases the challenges of parenting and the importance of finding a balance between safety and freedom. Tim Allen is hilarious as always and the rest of the cast is equally impressive. It's a must-watch for any fan of the show.
