Ep 6. Forest Fire!

Lassie season 1 episode 6, titled "Forest Fire!", follows the beloved collie as she saves her beloved Timmy from a raging wildfire.

The episode begins with Timmy and Lassie going for a hike in the woods. As they are relaxing by a stream, they notice a plume of smoke in the distance. Lassie immediately senses danger and begins to bark frantically. Timmy realizes that they need to get out of the woods before the fire spreads.

As they make their way back to their cabin, they encounter a group of campers who are headed in the same direction. Timmy warns them about the fire and they all scramble to safety.

Meanwhile, the fire is spreading rapidly and the local fire department is called in to help. The firefighters bravely battle the blaze, but it is clear that they need more help.

That's when Lassie comes to the rescue. She immediately runs back into the woods, despite Timmy's pleas to stay behind. Lassie knows that there are animals in the woods who need her help, so she sprints off to find them.

Lassie quickly encounters a mother deer and her fawn. They are both trapped by the flames and unable to escape. Lassie barks and whines, trying to get the deer to follow her. Finally, the mother deer understands and leads her fawn to safety.

Next, Lassie comes across a family of birds who are also trapped by the flames. They are desperate to escape, but don't know how. Lassie is up to the task, though. She barks and jumps, showing the birds the way to freedom.

Finally, Lassie reaches Timmy's cabin. She barks and scratches at the door, trying to get Timmy's attention. Timmy quickly realizes that Lassie must have found something important and follows her out into the woods.

Timmy is shocked to find that Lassie has been leading all sorts of animals to safety. He knows that Lassie is a hero and he is grateful to have her by his side.

With Lassie's help, the firefighters are able to extinguish the flames and the forest is saved. The campers are safe, the animals are safe, and Timmy and Lassie have once again proved that they are a remarkable team.

In the end, Timmy and Lassie return to their cabin, exhausted but relieved. They know that there will be more adventures in their future, but they also know that they can handle anything as long as they have each other.
