As the investigation into the robbery heats up, the Montecito team begins to suspect that the perpetrator may have been aided by someone on the inside. They soon discover that there is a system of illegal surveillance happening throughout the hotel, and they must race against the clock to stop it before anyone else gets hurt.
In the end, the case is solved and James Manning's valuable item is recovered. However, the Montecito team is left shaken by the revelation of the illegal surveillance and its implications for their guests' safety.
