In Las Vegas season 2 episode 19, titled "One Nation, Under Surveillance," the Montecito Casino becomes the center of a high-stakes controversy when a wealthy businessman is robbed in one of their guest suites. The team must work quickly to solve the case and restore the hotel's reputation.

As the episode begins, we see the Montecito staff preparing for a large conference being held at the hotel. Among the attendees is a wealthy businessman, James Manning, who has booked one of the hotel's luxury suites for his stay. However, when Manning's assistant discovers that he has been robbed of a valuable item, panic sets in.

Hotel security manager Ed Deline, played by James Caan, takes charge of the situation and starts investigating the case. He begins by reviewing the security footage and interviewing the hotel staff who were working at the time of the robbery. However, as they delve deeper into the case, they discover that there is more to it than just a simple theft.

Meanwhile, other members of the Montecito team are dealing with their own personal issues. Surveillance director Mike Cannon, played by James Lesure, is struggling with the fact that his ex-girlfriend, Piper Nielsen, is now seeing someone else. Adding to his stress, Cannon is also dealing with the fallout of a recent gambling addiction that has left him deeply in debt.

Elsewhere in the casino, bartender Nessa Holt, played by Marsha Thomason, is trying to convince her father to leave his job as a hitman for the mob. Nessa's father, played by Gary Dourdan, is resistant to her pleas, but she remains determined to save him from a life of crime.

As the investigation into the robbery heats up, the Montecito team begins to suspect that the perpetrator may have been aided by someone on the inside. They soon discover that there is a system of illegal surveillance happening throughout the hotel, and they must race against the clock to stop it before anyone else gets hurt.

In the end, the case is solved and James Manning's valuable item is recovered. However, the Montecito team is left shaken by the revelation of the illegal surveillance and its implications for their guests' safety.

Overall, Las Vegas season 2 episode 19 is a tense and exciting installment in the series. With its complex plot and strong character development, it keeps viewers on the edge of their seats until the very end.
