Ep 7. Hometown Hero

Po and the Furious Five are called by the mayor of a small town who wants them to defend the village from a band of marauders led by Fung and his gang. When they arrive, they discover that the townspeople are not as helpless as they thought. The town is being protected by Peng, a young kung fu prodigy who has become a local hero.

Po becomes quickly enamored with Peng and his popularity, and he begins to feel that he is not needed in the town. He starts to think that Peng can do a better job of protecting the town than he can. He tries to leave, but the Furious Five advise him that he should stay to mentor Peng.

Peng, however, has his own ideas about the way to protect the town. He wants to face Fung and his gang in combat, to prove that he is the better fighter. Po is against the idea but Peng is insistent. Po then decides to teach Peng the way of Kung Fu and helps him to refine his technique.

As Peng's training progresses, Po and the Furious Five face a looming danger as the marauders make their way through the nearby hills. Po and Peng team up to fight against the band of marauders and their leader Fung.
