Po wants to mentor a kid, Peng, who has a natural talent for kung fu. However, Peng's father, Hair Trigger, has forbidden him from learning kung fu after a previous incident with Po got him and his restaurant in trouble. Peng's desire to learn kung fu leads him to disobey his father's orders and secretly train with Po. Meanwhile, the Furious Five are investigating a series of burglaries in which the thieves leave behind origami animals. As the plot unfolds, Po and Peng get caught up in the burglaries and must work together to solve the case and clear their names.
