Election Knight is the ninth episode of the second season of the popular fantasy-comedy show Knight Squad. In this episode, the students of Astoria's Knight School are gearing up for the upcoming student council elections. As the election day approaches, Sage and Buttercup join the race for the coveted position of Student Council President, while Arc and Ciara team up as their campaign managers.
Sage, the ever-confident and ambitious Knight, is convinced that she is the perfect candidate for the presidency, and she's willing to do whatever it takes to win. On the other hand, Buttercup, the lovable and kind-hearted princess, has no interest in politics, but thanks to her friends' encouragement, she decides to run for the position.
As the two candidates begin their campaigns, tensions begin to rise between them. Sage's campaign is aggressive and cutthroat, while Buttercup's is more focused on spreading kindness and positivity. The student body begins to take sides, and soon, the school is divided into two factions.
However, things take a turn for the worse when a mysterious figure begins to sabotage the election. The candidates' posters are torn down, their speeches are interrupted, and their supporters are intimidated. The student council advisors, played by the hilarious duo of Sir Gareth and Henrietta, suspect foul play and urge the candidates to remain calm.
In the midst of all this chaos, Arc and Ciara try to maintain a level head and do everything in their power to help their friends win the election. They come up with creative campaign strategies, hold rallies, and even create a catchy election theme song. But as the election day looms closer, they start to realize that their efforts might not be enough to overcome the obstacles in their way.
The episode is full of laughs and heartwarming moments, as well as some surprising plot twists. The writers have done an excellent job of crafting a story that not only entertains but also delivers a powerful message about the importance of unity and kindness, especially during divisive times. The show's talented cast, including Owen Joyner as Arc, Daniella Perkins as Ciara, Lilimar Hernandez as Sage, and Savannah May as Buttercup, all deliver strong performances and create characters that are both relatable and larger than life.
Overall, Election Knight is a fantastic episode that showcases everything Knight Squad does best: humor, heart, and a healthy dose of magic. It is sure to be a fan favorite and will leave viewers eagerly anticipating what's next in store for Astoria's brave young knights.
