Tonight, Two Knight is the eighth episode of the first season of Knight Squad. The episode follows the story of the students of Astoria's Knight School who are preparing for the upcoming Sorcery School Ball. The students are excited about the ball, but they are also worried about not having a partner to dance with.
As the preparations for the ball continue, Sage is excited to go to the ball with Buttercup as his date. But when Sage discovers that Buttercup already has a date, he becomes heartbroken. Sir Gareth notices the pain Sage is going through and decides to help him find a new date for the ball.
Meanwhile, Warwick, who is Sage's magical squire, wants to become a knight. He has been working hard to impress everyone, but nobody seems to be taking him seriously. Warwick comes up with a plan to prove that he is worthy of being a knight. He plans to steal the powerful book of magic that Sir Gareth has been guarding for years.
Warwick manages to sneak into Sir Gareth's room and steal the book. But as he is trying to escape, he bumps into Sage, who is also sneaking around the castle. Sage is surprised to see the book in Warwick's hands and tries to stop him. The two accidentally cast a spell on the book which splits it into two halves.
Sage and Warwick realize that they have made a mistake and must now find a way to fix the book before Sir Gareth finds out. They decide to work together and try to find the other half of the book before the ball.
Meanwhile, Sir Gareth comes up with an idea for the students who do not have a partner for the ball. He decides to pair them up using a matchmaking spell. However, the spell goes wrong and pairs people up with the wrong partners, causing chaos at the ball.
As the ball continues, Sage and Warwick manage to find the other half of the book. However, it is in the hands of Ryker, who is the enemy of the knights. Sage and Warwick must now face Ryker and his army of monsters in order to retrieve the other half of the book.
The episode ends with Sage and Warwick successfully retrieving the other half of the book. They are praised for their bravery by Sir Gareth and the other knights. In the end, Sage finds a new date for the ball and Warwick is given the chance to become a knight. The episode ends on a happy note, with everyone learning the importance of teamwork and friendship.
