Michael and KITT are called to investigate a string of mysterious deaths that have occurred in a small Louisiana town. Upon arriving, they discover that the townspeople believe a voodoo priestess, named Mama Jo, is behind the deaths. The local police are unable to find any evidence to support this claim, but Michael and KITT begin to uncover strange occurrences that suggest Mama Jo may indeed possess supernatural powers.
As they dig deeper, Michael and KITT encounter a young woman named Charisma, who is part of Mama Jo's cult. Charisma believes that Mama Jo is a powerful healer who can help her sick father, and she is determined to protect her at all costs.
