Jay and Ryan are seen walking towards Lisa Prince's (Catherine McClenahan) house. Jay tells Ryan that he witnessed Mac (Mac Brandt) and Craig (Matt Lauria) taking drugs. Ryan tells him he needs to talk to Mac, which Jay agrees to. Meanwhile, in the gym, Alvey (Frank Grillo) talks to Nate (Nick Jonas) and tells him he will be in the lineup for the next fight. Nate is still trying to cope with his secret, but Alvey tells him that he can use his anger in the fight.

Christina (Joanna Going) calls Alvey and tells him that she is recovering, but that she isn't going to AA or rehab. She asks him for money, which he refuses to give her, but he tells her that he will help her get a job. Later on, Alicia (Natalie Martinez) tells Lisa that Jay is here to see her. Jay tells Lisa that he needs to talk to her about Mac, and she agrees to help him.

Jay goes to talk to Mac, but Mac doesn't want to hear anything about it. Mac tells Jay that his drug use is none of his business, which leads to a fight between the two. Jay tells Mac that he is trying to help him, but Mac doesn't want to hear it. Meanwhile, Lisa tells Alvey that she can't sell the house. Alvey tells her that he will help her and that they can work something out.

Jay tries to talk to Craig, but Craig doesn't want to hear it either. Craig tells Jay that he is no longer his coach and that he needs to leave him alone. Later on, Alvey tries to talk to Lisa's son, but he doesn't want anything to do with him. Alvey tells Lisa that he can help her with her son, but Lisa tells him that she doesn't want his help.

Jay goes to see Ryan, and they talk about Mac and Craig's drug use. Jay tells Ryan that he needs to do something about it, but Ryan tells him that he can't. Ryan tells Jay that he needs to go to Alvey and tell him what he knows. Jay tells Ryan that he can't do that because he doesn't want to get Mac in trouble.

In the locker room, Alvey tells Nate that his fight is in two days. Nate tells Alvey that he wants to fight, but Alvey tells him that he needs to make weight. Nate starts to run, and Alvey tells him that he needs to lose two pounds. Meanwhile, Lisa tells Alvey that she is going to sell the house by herself and that she doesn't need his help.

Jay goes to see Mac's girlfriend and tells her about his drug use. Mac's girlfriend tells him that she already knows about it and that she doesn't want to talk about it. Jay tells her that he wants to help Mac, but she tells him that he needs to back off. Later on, Alvey tells Nate about his fight strategy and tells him to be aggressive.

Jay goes to see Alvey and tells him about Mac and Craig's drug use. Alvey tells Jay that he already knew about it and that he has been trying to help them. Alvey tells Jay that he needs to focus on his own life and that he can't save everyone.

In the gym, Nate is seen fighting his opponent. Nate is struggling to land a punch, but he eventually knocks his opponent out. Alvey is seen watching the fight and is proud of Nate's performance.

In the end, Lisa tells Alvey that she had already sold the house and that she didn't need his help. Alvey tells her that he still wants to help her, but Lisa tells him that she can take care of herself. Meanwhile, Jay starts to pack his things and get ready to leave. Ryan asks him where he is going, and Jay tells him that he needs to go back home. Ryan tells him that he can't quit, but Jay tells him that he needs to figure out what he wants to do with his life. The episode ends with Jay leaving and Ryan looking distraught.
