Hank and his friends decide to take a firefighting course after hearing about a rash of arson fires in their neighborhood. The class is taught by a gruff, veteran firefighter who puts them through the paces with intense physical training and practical simulations. However, their new skills are put to the test when they are called into action to help fight a real fire at a local business. The crew must work together to put out the flames and rescue anyone inside, all while dealing with their own fears and limitations. Meanwhile, Peggy and Luanne attend a "women in business" seminar, but find themselves at odds with the other attendees over their ideas of female empowerment. As the two worlds collide, Hank and Peggy must navigate their own gender roles and identities while facing the complex challenges of their respective professions.
