Description
Kimikiss Pure Rouge is a classic romantic-drama anime series produced by Sunrise and directed by Kenichi Kasai. The show premiered on MBS in 2007 and ran for 24 episodes. The series features a talented voice cast including Mamiko Noto as Mao Mizusawa, Ami Koshimizu as Yuumi Hoshino, Kaori Mizuhashi as Asuka Sakino, Satoshi Hino as Kouichi Sanada, Haruna Ikezawa as Eriko Futami, Rie Tanaka as Nana-san, and Takahiro Mizushima as Kazuki Aihara.
The story is set in a fictional high school, where the students are trying to navigate through their teenage years, focusing on their love lives and academic success. The main protagonist, Kouichi Sanada, is a kind-hearted and cheerful teenager who has just transferred to the high school. Kouichi soon finds himself drawn to Yuumi Hoshino, a talented girl who is known for her academic achievements. However, Yuumi has a crush on their homeroom teacher, Kazuki Aihara, who also happens to be Kouichi's childhood friend.
