Kim Possible is an American animated television series that premiered on Disney Channel in 2002. It is a show about the adventures of Kim Possible, a high school student and freelance hero, and her best friend Ron Stoppable, who constantly battle evil villains and save the world from their nefarious plans. In season 2 episode 15, titled "A Stitch in Time: Past," Kim and Ron find themselves in a time-traveling adventure as they go back in time to prevent Dr. Drakken from altering history and changing their future forever.
The episode starts with Kim, Ron, and Rufus, their pet naked mole-rat, hanging out at Bueno Nacho, their favorite fast-food joint. Suddenly, they receive an alert from Wade, Kim's tech genius and mission control, about Dr. Drakken's latest evil plan. Drakken has built a time machine, and he plans to travel back in time to the 1970s and steal a top-secret weapon prototype from Global Justice, an international intelligence agency. If he succeeds, he could change the course of history and alter their present.
Kim and Ron immediately suit up and head to Global Justice headquarters, where they meet Agent Will Du, a young and inexperienced agent who is in charge of guarding the prototype. Will is impressed by Kim's reputation as a hero and offers to help them in any way possible. Kim and Ron devise a plan to capture Drakken and stop him from altering history.
But as soon as they get to Drakken's lair, they are too late. Drakken has already activated the time machine and disappeared into the past. Kim and Ron use the machine to follow him and find themselves in the 1970s. They quickly realize that Drakken has teamed up with his future self, a villainous version of himself known as "Doctor D."
Together, the two Drakkens have taken over Global Justice and are planning to launch a massive nuclear attack on the world. Kim and Ron must find a way to stop them and prevent the nuclear destruction of the world. But they have a limited amount of time before they are stuck in the past forever.
Throughout the episode, Kim and Ron face various challenges and obstacles as they navigate through the 1970s. They must adapt to the fashion, technology, and societal norms of the decade while also staying focused on their mission. They encounter several iconic figures of the decade, such as disco dancers, hippies, and even a young Agent Will Du. But they also face dangerous foes, such as Drakken and "Doctor D," who are determined to succeed in their evil plans.
As the episode progresses, Kim and Ron realize that they might not be able to stop the nuclear attack. But they refuse to give up and keep trying to find a way to prevent it. Together, they come up with a plan to stop the Drakkens and save the world.
