In Kickin' It season 2 episode 18, titled "Sole-Brothers," the gang at the Bobby Wasabi Martial Arts Academy is gearing up for the annual Sole Brothers Dance, a dance competition between the top martial arts schools in the area. The group is excited to compete, but tensions rise when they find out their competition is the notorious Black Dragons, a team that has won the competition for the past ten years in a row.
Their confidence on the line, the team starts training harder than ever with Sensei Rudy as their coach. He works them to the bone and even hires a professional dance instructor, Marge, to help them perfect their moves. The team is determined to win and break the Black Dragons' winning streak.
As they train, Jack and Kim realize that they have strong feelings for each other, but are too scared to act on them. Meanwhile, Jerry and Milton try to incorporate their own unique dance style into the routine, but their suggestions are met with resistance from the others.
On the day of the competition, tensions are high and the pressure is on. The Bobby Wasabi team takes the stage and performs their routine flawlessly, but the Black Dragons follow with an impressive dance of their own. In the end, the judges award the Black Dragons the victory yet again.
Feeling defeated, the team packs up and starts to leave, but are surprised when the Black Dragons approach them. It turns out that the Black Dragons had a newfound respect for the Bobby Wasabi team and wanted to share their victory with them.
The episode ends with Jack and Kim finally confessing their feelings for each other and sharing a romantic dance together, while Jerry and Milton sneak in some of their own signature moves. The group may not have won the competition, but they learned that friendship and respect are more important than any trophy or title.
