Ep 17. Picture Imperfect

Kenan & Kel is a popular American sitcom that aired from 1996 to 2000. The show revolves around the lives of two teenagers - Kenan Rockmore (played by Kenan Thompson) and Kel Kimble (played by Kel Mitchell), who get into all sorts of comedic situations in their hometown of Chicago. In season 3 episode 17, titled "Picture Imperfect," the boys find themselves in a bit of a jam when they mistakenly take a compromising photograph of their boss, Chris (played by Dan Frischman).

As the episode begins, we see Kenan and Kel working at Rigby's, a local burger joint where Chris is their boss. One day, Kenan and Kel are using Chris's camera to take some silly pictures of themselves. But when they accidentally leave the camera in the break room, Chris picks it up and snaps a photo of himself making a funny face. However, Kenan and Kel don't realize this and assume that they've taken the picture themselves, so they proudly display it on the restaurant's bulletin board as part of their "employee of the month" campaign.

At first, Chris is amused by the photo and even starts using it in his own marketing campaign for Rigby's. But things take a turn for the worse when Chris's wife sees the picture and assumes that he's been cheating on her. She promptly files for divorce and takes half of his assets, leaving poor Chris a broken man. Kenan and Kel feel terrible about what they've inadvertently done and set out to make things right.

However, their attempts to fix the situation only make things worse. They try to take a new picture of Chris that shows him in a more flattering light, but end up capturing him in a very compromising position with a mop. This photo gets circulated around the restaurant and Rigby's loses a lot of business as a result. Kenan and Kel then try to sabotage the photo by stealing the negatives, but Chris catches them in the act and assumes that they're trying to blackmail him.

Finally, Kenan and Kel come up with a plan to get Chris's wife to see the original photo of him making a silly face and realize that there was no infidelity involved. They manage to sneak into Chris's house and get the photo back, but they accidentally set off a security alarm and end up getting chased around the house by a guard dog. Despite the chaos, they eventually succeed in getting the photo to Chris's wife, who is relieved to learn the truth.

In the end, Chris is able to reconcile with his wife and Rigby's gets back on its feet. Kenan and Kel may have caused a lot of trouble, but they ultimately save the day and learn a valuable lesson about the power of pictures and the importance of honesty. This episode is a classic example of the show's blend of slapstick humor, zany antics, and heartwarming moments.
