Ep 5. Clownin' Around

Kenan & Kel season 2 episode 5 is named Clownin' Around and takes place in Chicago. The episode revolves around Kenan and Kel's desire to become clowns for a party. They come up with the idea after seeing an advertisement for a clown school.

Even though they are not successful in getting into the school, they still want to become clowns for the party. They decide to make their own clown costumes, but it doesn't work out as planned. They create a DIY clown costume using items from Kenan's house, like a shower cap, feather duster, and an old bathrobe. Kel is able to complete his costume easily but Kenan has trouble with his.

After creating the costumes, they go to the party and quickly realize they are not good clowns. They make a mess of things and cause chaos, quickly realizing that being a clown is harder than they thought. The situation escalates when the birthday boy and his friends become upset with them.

Kenan and Kel are asked to leave the party and they start to feel discouraged. However, they do not give up on being clowns and decide to go to a professional clown for some advice. The clown teaches them the art of clowning around and encourages them to keep trying.

The episode ends with Kenan and Kel practicing their clowning skills and being excited to try again at the next party. The episode teaches viewers the importance of perseverance and not giving up on their dreams.
