Ep 1. Do you believe in God?

Kamisama Kazoku is an anime series that follows the life of Samatarou Kamiyama, a high school student who is also a god in training. His family consists of various gods, goddesses and a heavenly dog, who are all living together on Earth. Kumiko is shocked at first but soon realizes that Samatarou's feelings for her are genuine. She tells him that she likes him too and they start dating. Samatarou is ecstatic and feels that he has made the right decision.

Things are going well between Samatarou and Kumiko until a new transfer student, Tenko, arrives at their school. Tenko is a very attractive girl and all the boys in the class are smitten by her. Samatarou is not immune to her charms and starts to feel jealous whenever she is around.

During a trip to the beach, Samatarou accidentally reveals to Kumiko that he likes Tenko. Kumiko is hurt and runs away from him. Samatarou is devastated and starts to question his feelings for Kumiko.

Meanwhile, Tenko is revealed to be a demon who is after Samatarou's power. She tricks him into going to a deserted island and tries to steal his god powers. Samatarou fights back and is able to defeat Tenko with the help of his family.

In the end, Samatarou realizes that his love for Kumiko is true and he decides to be with her. He also learns that being a god is not just about power, but also about love and sacrifice.

The first episode of Kamisama Kazoku sets the tone for the series. It establishes the characters, the setting and the themes that will be explored throughout the show. The episode is light-hearted and fun, but also has moments of drama and emotion. It is a great introduction to the world of Kamisama Kazoku and leaves the audience wanting more.
