In Kaijudo: Rise of the Duel Masters season 2 episode 8, titled "Rising Son," the story continues as Ray and Gabe are given a task to retrieve a special artifact called the Helm of Ultimate Technology. According to Master Jaha, the Helm has the power to control all technology in existence, and Dark Slinger is after it.
The boys set out on their mission, accompanied by Gabe's father, who is an expert in technology. Along the way, they meet a new creature named Sympathy, who explains that he is the son of Aqua Seneschal, a powerful creature from the Water civilization. Sympathy's father has gone missing, and he believes that Dark Slinger is behind his disappearance.
As they journey deeper into enemy territory, Ray and Gabe learn more about the history of the Kaijudo world and the Duel Masters who protect it. They discover that Dark Slinger is not just after the Helm of Ultimate Technology, but also after the five great artifacts that have the power to summon the Creature Monarchs. If Dark Slinger gets his hands on all five artifacts, he can summon the powerful creatures and rule the Kaijudo world.
With this knowledge, Ray, Gabe, and Gabe's father must work together to not only retrieve the Helm of Ultimate Technology but also prevent Dark Slinger from obtaining the other artifacts. Along the way, they face dangerous challenges, including battling against Dark Slinger's minions and navigating through dangerous traps.
As they get closer to their goal, they encounter Aqua Seneschal and learn the shocking truth behind his disappearance. With this new information, they are able to strategize and come up with a plan to stop Dark Slinger once and for all.
In the end, the fate of the Kaijudo world rests on the shoulders of Ray, Gabe, and their friends. Will they be able to retrieve the Helm of Ultimate Technology and stop Dark Slinger? Or will the world fall under his rule? The answers to these questions and more are revealed in "Rising Son," an action-packed episode of Kaijudo: Rise of the Duel Masters.
