Justin Time is a Canadian animated series that follows a young boy named Justin who goes on exciting adventures with his friends Olive and Squidgy. In season 2 episode 6, titled "Yukon Dawn / Lion Dance," Justin and his friends embark on two different adventures.
In the first adventure, "Yukon Dawn," Justin, Olive, and Squidgy find themselves in the chilly Yukon territory of Canada. They wake up early to catch a glimpse of the beautiful Yukon Dawn, a natural light show that only occurs in winter. However, the friends soon discover that the dawn is being blocked by the mountains. To get a better view, they decide to climb up one of the mountains. Along the way, they encounter some local wildlife, including a family of mountain goats and a stubborn moose. With some help from their trusty snowshoes, the friends finally reach the top of the mountain and witness the stunning Yukon Dawn.
In the second adventure, "Lion Dance," Justin, Olive, and Squidgy travel to China during the Lunar New Year. They visit a small village where they witness a traditional Lion Dance. The friends are fascinated by the acrobatic dance, which tells the story of a monster that terrorized the village. However, when a real monster appears, the friends must use their quick thinking to save the villagers. With the help of the Lion Dance performers, Justin, Olive, and Squidgy scare away the monster and restore peace to the village.
Throughout both adventures, Justin, Olive, and Squidgy learn important lessons about teamwork, perseverance, and problem-solving. The show also incorporates educational elements, such as teaching children about different cultures and environments around the world.
"Yukon Dawn / Lion Dance" is a fun and educational episode that will entertain viewers of all ages. With vibrant animation, engaging characters, and exciting adventures, it's no wonder that Justin Time has become a beloved series for children worldwide.
