Justin Time is a delightfully animated children's show that fosters imaginative thinking and problem-solving skills. In the third episode of season one, Justin and his pals Olive and Squidgy embark on two exciting adventures.
In "It's a Viking Thing," Justin travels back in time to the Viking era. Upon arrival, he finds himself in the midst of a rowdy crowd of Viking warriors. Outfitted with a helmet, sword, and shield, Justin embraces his Viking persona and sets off to prove himself as a warrior. He soon discovers, however, that the Vikings are not the fearsome raiders he thought they were. Instead, they're a friendly community that enjoys song, dance, and delicious food. Justin's new Viking pal, Hagar, invites him to partake in a food festival where he gets to taste traditional Viking fare like roast meat, fish, and berries. As the festivities wind down, Justin becomes aware of a looming danger: a wild boar that has been terrorizing the village. Justin and Hagar rally the other Vikings to help capture the beast and save the village from destruction.
In "Follow Those Chickens!," the gang goes on a farm adventure. Justin, Olive, and Squidgy stumble upon a group of rambunctious baby chicks that have escaped their coop. Fearing that the chicks are lost, they set out to find them and return them to their home. Along the way, they encounter farm animals like cows, horses, and sheep, and witness how they all have to work together to keep things running smoothly on the farm. As they search for the chicks, the trio must solve puzzles and overcome obstacles to make sure they stay on track. They enlist the help of a smart and resourceful scarecrow named Scarecrow Joe, who guides them through the farm's many twists and turns. Eventually, they find and herd all of the wandering chicks back to their coop. In the end, Justin, Olive, and Squidgy learn that working together and using their wits is the best way to solve challenges and help others.
Overall, "It's a Viking Thing / Follow Those Chickens!" is a fun and educational episode that teaches children important life skills like problem-solving, teamwork, and perseverance. With engaging characters and imaginative storylines, Justin Time is an excellent choice for younger audiences.
