Raylan Givens is trying to wrap up some loose ends before he leaves Harlan for good. One of those loose ends is the Detroit mobster Markham, who is back in town and causing trouble. Meanwhile, Boyd Crowder is trying to gather money for his ambitious plans, but finds himself in competition with a ruthless drug dealer named Ty Walker.
In Cash Game, Raylan is once again drawn into the world of Markham when he discovers that Markham is planning a return to Harlan to recover the money he lost the last time he was there. Markham's plan involves a high-stakes card game, and Raylan is tasked with preventing the game from happening and stopping Markham once and for all.
Boyd, on the other hand, is in dire need of cash to fund his ambitious plan to rob a military convoy of money. He turns to one of his former employees, Ava, for help, but her loyalties are questioned when she is approached by Ty Walker, who wants in on Boyd's plan.
As Raylan and Boyd navigate their respective challenges, they both find themselves in danger. Raylan is pursued by Markham's enforcer, Seabass, while Boyd is forced to take on Ty Walker and his gang in a brutal showdown.
In the end, both Raylan and Boyd emerge victorious, but at a great cost. Raylan faces the consequences of his actions, while Boyd is left reeling from the loss of his trusted friend and ally, Dewey Crowe.
