Ep 1. Twilight (1)

After the defeat of the 3 Thanagarian invaders, the Justice League are hailed as heroes by the public. But their celebration is short-lived as an ancient evil known as Volcana returns to Earth, and with her, she brings a powerful artefact that could destroy the world. Meanwhile, Batman begins investigating a mysterious series of disappearances occurring all over the world.

As the League tries to stop Volcana from unleashing the destructive power of the artefact, they encounter a new threat in the form of a team of supervillains known as the Secret Society. Lead by the enigmatic Gorilla Grodd, the Secret Society poses a significant threat to the already weakened Justice League. To make matters worse, the Society has managed to convince Lex Luthor, the arch-nemesis of Superman, to join their ranks.

While the rest of the Justice League focuses their attention on stopping Volcana and the Society, Batman continues his investigation and discovers a sinister connection between the disappearances and the Society's plans. With this new information, Batman enlists the help of the league to take down the Society once and for all.

However, as the League battles the Society and their high-tech weaponry, Volcana manages to steal the artefact and unleashes its power. The entire world is plunged into darkness, and the League is left powerless to stop her.

In a last-ditch effort, Batman leads a team of heroes to confront Volcana and retrieve the artefact. With the fate of the world hanging in the balance, the League must work together to defeat Volcana and restore order to the world.

The episode ends with the League victorious, but with the knowledge that there are other ancient threats out there waiting to be unleashed. As they regroup, they vow to continue their mission of protecting the planet, no matter what dangers may arise in the future.
