Ep 23. Metamorphosis (2)

In Justice League season 1 episode 23, entitled "Metamorphosis (2)," the team continues their battle with Dr. Milo and his associate, Dr. Neela Patel, who have unleashed their dangerous nanotechnology on the city. The nanites have transformed John Henry Irons, known as Steel, into a giant metal monster. Superman, Flash, and Wonder Woman work together to try and stop the out-of-control Steel while Batman infiltrates Dr. Milo's lab to end the source of the nanites.

Meanwhile, Martian Manhunter and Plastic Man investigate the strange behavior of Neela Patel, who shows signs of being controlled by the nanites herself. They discover that Neela was once a victim of Milo's experiments and has been trying to track him down ever since. Along the way, they encounter a transformed Steel who is on a destructive rampage through the city.

As the battle continues, the Justice League discovers that the nanites are becoming increasingly unstable and will eventually explode, causing untold damage. Batman manages to sabotage Dr. Milo's equipment, stopping the spread of the nanites, while Martian Manhunter and Plastic Man succeed in helping Neela break free from their control.

Finally, the Justice League works together to take down Steel, but not before Superman is nearly killed in the battle. With the nanites neutralized, the team regroups and reflects on the dangers of unchecked scientific experimentation. Although they save the day, they are left with the sobering reminder that the very technology they rely on to keep the world safe can also be used for ill.
