Ep 17. The Secret Society: Part 1

The Secret Society: Part 1 begins with a group of super villains, led by Gorilla Grodd, coming together to form a new organization called The Secret Society. They aim to take down the Justice League and rule the world. Meanwhile, the Justice League is investigating a series of robberies, and Wonder Woman is paired up with The Atom to investigate a small-time thief named Copperhead.
As they interrogate Copperhead, he reveals that he was hired to steal a box from a train, but was attacked by someone who wanted the box for himself. Copperhead dies soon after, and Wonder Woman and The Atom are left with little information. Meanwhile, The Secret Society grows in power and recruits more members, including Sinestro, Shade, Clayface, and Killer Frost.
The Justice League becomes aware of The Secret Society's existence when Green Lantern receives a distress signal from Solomon Grundy, who was captured and imprisoned by the villains. Green Lantern alerts the rest of the league, and they decide to investigate.
At the Society's headquarters, Gorilla Grodd reveals his plan to his teammates, but there are tensions between the members, particularly between Shade and Sinestro. Sinestro proposes that they attack the Justice League immediately, but Grodd decides to hold off until they have more power.
In the meantime, the Justice League discovers the location of The Secret Society's headquarters and sends out a team to investigate. The team consists of Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, and Dr. Fate, who together make a formidable trio.
Upon arriving at the headquarters, the three heroes go up against members of The Secret Society and come face to face with Grodd. However, they are ultimately outnumbered and retreat.
Back at the Justice League headquarters, the team discusses their next move and decides to infiltrate The Secret Society by sending in undercover members. Wonder Woman and The Atom are chosen for the task and are given new identities to blend in with the villainous group.
The episode ends with Wonder Woman and The Atom infiltrating The Secret Society, setting the stage for the second part of the story.
