Ep 18. Driver's Ed
- June 29, 2017
In the episode "Driver's Ed" of Justice League Action season 2, the Justice League has to deal with a new threat, one that comes in the form of a reckless and dangerous driver. The episode begins with a high-speed car chase on the streets of Central City, as the police and the Flash try to stop the driver from causing more damage and endangering the lives of innocent bystanders.
As it turns out, the driver is not human but an alien from another planet who has just arrived on Earth. He is completely unaware of Earth's traffic laws and driving etiquette, which leads to a lot of chaos and mayhem.
The Justice League comes to the scene to assist the Flash and the police, but even they have a hard time keeping up with the wild driving of the alien. Batman and Superman manage to catch up with the alien in their respective vehicles, but both end up crashing due to the alien's erratic driving.
The alien is eventually apprehended by Green Lantern, who uses his ring to create a barrier around the alien's car and bring it to a stop. After a brief scuffle, the alien is knocked out and taken into custody by the Justice League.
However, the real danger comes when the alien's fellow inhabitants of his home planet arrive on Earth to rescue him. They are a group of powerful beings who are not to be trifled with, and they are not happy with the way their friend has been treated.
The Justice League has to fend off the angry aliens while also dealing with the fact that the alien they have in custody is still causing trouble. He wakes up and escapes from his holding cell, stealing a police car and going on another dangerous joyride.
In the end, it is the Teen Titans who come to the rescue, as they manage to stop the alien by appealing to his sense of adventure and thrill-seeking. Robin challenges him to a race, and the alien agrees, even though he knows he will be caught. The Teen Titans then help the alien understand Earth's traffic laws and driving etiquette, and he eventually agrees to return to his home planet peacefully.
The Justice League breathes a sigh of relief as the danger has finally passed. They also learn a valuable lesson about the importance of driver's education, even for extraterrestrial beings. The episode ends with the Justice League and Teen Titans sharing a laugh over their crazy and chaotic adventure.
