In season 2 episode 6 of Junkyard Empire, titled "Never Easy," the show's cast of auto experts and garage gurus deal with the usual array of challenges of running a business in the salvaging world. Andrew oversees the rebuild of a one-of-a-kind tiny home trailer while his father Bobby tries to figure out what to do with a somewhat dilapidated Wienermobile.
The episode starts with the crew trying to get a handle on a vintage VW Beetle that has some unusual flaws. The metal-bodied car has been used in a variety of entertainment settings, from movie sets to TV commercials. But the VW has some rust spots, a bad transmission, and a worn out engine, and the team has their work cut out for them as they try to refurbish it.
Meanwhile, Andrew's Tiny House project is also in full swing. The team is working on a home built on top of an old boat trailer, which presents its own set of unique design and engineering challenges.
As Andrew and his team work to get the tiny home in shape, Bobby focuses his attention on bringing in a one-of-a-kind Wienermobile to be used as a promotional tool. The car is over two decades old and is starting to show its age, which means the crew will have to work extra hard to get it back in tip-top shape.
Throughout the episode, tensions run high as deadlines loom and difficult decisions must be made. But as with every Junkyard Empire episode, the team pulls together to accomplish incredible feats of ingenuity and engineering. Whether they're welding, sawing, or wiring, the cast's skills and craftsmanship are on full display as they work to turn junk into treasure.
As the episode comes to a close, the Tiny House and the Wienermobile are both fully operational, thanks to the hard work of the Junkyard Empire team. With their latest projects now complete, the crew hits the road once again, always ready for their next adventure.
