Ep 107. Study Abroad Freeloader?!; Road Rage With Children in the Car?!

  • January 31, 2018

In this episode of Judge Judy, a young woman is accused of being a "study abroad freeloader" by her former roommate. The plaintiff claims that the defendant took advantage of her generosity by not paying rent or helping with household expenses, despite taking classes at a nearby university. The defendant argues that they had a verbal agreement to split the rent and that the plaintiff refused to let her transfer her scholarship money to cover the expenses. Judge Judy must determine whether or not there was a binding agreement between the two parties and whether or not the defendant owes any money.

Later in the episode, a mother and father are involved in a dispute over a car accident that occurred while they were driving with their two young children in the backseat. The mother claims that the father was responsible for the accident, which she says was caused by his road rage. The father argues that the mother was distracted by the children and that she is to blame. Judge Judy must sort out the conflicting accounts and determine who is responsible for the damages.

As the cases unfold in the courtroom, Judge Judy is at her no-nonsense best. She questions both plaintiffs and defendants with equal intensity, demanding evidence and testimony to back up their claims. Her keen instincts and sharp wit are on full display as she weighs the evidence and reaches her verdicts.

Ultimately, Judge Judy's rulings are based on the law and the facts of each case. Her no-nonsense approach and tough love demeanor have made her one of the most popular figures on daytime television, and it's easy to see why. Whether dealing with small claims or more serious matters, Judge Judy is always in control and always seeking justice.
